Penelope & Fred

Fred and I both love this series! A short summery of the book - When Carter leaves his home and runs away, he ends up in the town Mineral Wells. He meet 5 other kids, and they quickly become friends. They all love magic, and when a carnival arrives in town, something seems a little fishy. They have to figure out what's happening. Through out the book, there are magic tricks, and be sure to check out the chapter names (they're hilarious!). There are 4 books in the series, if you want more from the misfits.
